Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things. Whatever we believe about God must always be weighed in the scale of His written Word and in the context of His community, so that the truth might be discerned and applied.
